HAWAII BEACHES
Monday, 19 March 2012 [ 12:58 ]

this would be a short post consisting of pictures of the beach and my friends. the beaches in Hawaii are without a doubt extremely beautiful. it's so wonderful that I could spent hours playing at the beach. the other part? Well, I would say it look similar to Indonesia, for exception waikiki shopping area, it looks like Singapore's Orchad road, but much better in my opinion.  There are 4 different beaches that I went to, which would be your favourite?

beaches at kamehameha highway! shot from Kualoa Ranch where they shoot movies such as Jurassic Park, Pearl Harbour, 50 first dates etc. Anyway for those of you who read/ watch Dragon Ball, should find the name Kamehameha Highway, amusing. Kame hame ha is what Songoku would shout to shoot a deadly energy ball.

Waikiki Beach

this picture is my favourite. I like this place, but somehow I prefer blue beach in Puerto Rico. This place is called Hanauma Bay. Great place to snorkel

okay she is not my friend. she was just happen to be there when I shot the picture, and damn it's nice with her standing there. and I have no idea where is this place. LOL

For all the love, thank You and you and you
Thursday, 1 March 2012 [ 18:18 ]

God is the greatest. For He has given me heaps of wonderful friends who filled my days with so much love and laughter. His blessings doesnt ends there. I am able to travel to various places on earth and see the beautiful creations of his and experienced all the adrenaline rush activities. In addition, he gave me a loving family, who cares and loves me for who I am.

Despite all the downs I had experienced many times, in the end I found myself happier that I could ever be and God in His own way helped me through those times.

I could not ask for more. I guess my 29th of february is always filled with lots and lots of laughter. Thanks God! And thanks a lot my crazy pyschotic and amazing friends for today. Happy 29th Feb!

Santa Barbara & Solvang
Thursday, 23 February 2012 [ 18:20 ]

Last month , my friends and I went to Solvang, a Danish village, located around 130 miles from L.A ( now, see why you gotta love L.A? it's so close to great places). Solvang means "sunny field" in Danish. Solvang is a home to few museums, missions and obviously all danish related things.

okay, pictures

this is me and my dear friend Lim 'tai tai' having brunch at Paula's Pancake House

i was so starving, I didnt take any picture of the pancake. It's a decent pancake but not the tastiest I've tried so far

After filling our tummies with carbs fats and sugar, we visited Hans Christian Andersen's Museum, Hans is the dude who tells awesome tragic stories like little mermaid or little match girl. I read his equally tragic biography. he is apparently a bisexual (this is totally fine), who always had unrequited love (this is tragic). obviously where all the inspiration his story are from.

nice cafe outside the museum

ok the other part of solvang beside the museum

Apparently they shipped the butter cookies all around the world

I like the quote

so while we were walking , we pass this restaurant, so we decided to try out their famous Aebleskiver

TADDAAA!! this is the famous Aebleskiver. I like it better without the jam

so after we had enough of solvang, we proceed to visit mission at Santa Barbara

okay.. last but not least, a group picture.

Snowboarding (snow summit)
Monday, 20 February 2012 [ 10:11 ]

Whee~ It's snowing in South Cali! :D hahaha so, I went snowboarding!!! :D :D I went to Snow Summit on Big bear mountain which is around 2 hours from L.A (another reason to love L.A).
I like Snow Summit except the fact that the snow aint that thick there. so it really hurts if you fell down, especially at the lower part of the trails. However if you have went to mountains in Europe or Japan or Canada, you gonna think Snow Summit is a joke. but compared to Mt.High, another mountain near L.A , it's better. much better I would say

so here are the pictures

the Burtons, mine's blueeee.

taking a group picsbefore going down the trail

stopped halfway to take picture. sadly there's no picture of me while snowboarding.

we actually snowboarded till the sun set. and I myself prefer night snowboarding. reason? Less people, awesome sight of the town/city's light from the mountain. the cons? it's much colder and more windy. but for snowboarding, I'll do anything.

another friend of mine. but ignore her, just look at the sky.

ok this is a picture of my friends, gracefully snowboarding :(  next time it would be my picture. hahaha. that's her first time snowboarding and she was doing amazingly well

overall it was an awesome weekend. im going there again, maybe tomorrow. hahahha
